A Journey With Ya Si

Coincidentally the paper I used is a promotional leaflet of the late Ya Si (也 斯, aka Leung Ping-kwan), a renowned writer/poet who had been a champion of Hong Kong literature throughout his life. Ya Si’s Hong Kong, a collection of photo and essays, portrays Hong Kong in the eyes of Ya Si, records the anecdotes of our society. This book reminds its readers to share their love and enjoy their lives. In a way, it forms a strong bonding with my artwork as bring it to another level with an intersexual reading of the city.
